    As one can see from the last date of entry we have lapsed on keeping this page up to date. Frankly, we have been fairly busy and keeping the website as up to date as possible seems to drop to a lesser priority.  We will see how 2023 goes...

    We are working on the final details of four (4) major interior glass elements for the unique Oakwood Residence in Miami, FL.  
    a) glass Main Staircase from the main level up to the Mezzanine (2nd level),
    b) glass Spiral Staircase from the Mezzanine (2nd level) to the Upper Loft (3rd Level).  
    c) glass Observation Deck at the top of the Main Stairs that will overlook what we call the "Conserviary" (half Conservatory - half Aviary).
    d) a glass "Catwalk" which leads from the Observatory up and around the upper perimeter of the Conserviary (sometimes also called the "Sunroom") so that an amazing view of the elements of this extra ordinary space can be appreciated, including a very large Koi Pond and a 15' tall Chinese "Scholars Rock".

    the Construction Documents (CD's) for a new secluded Guest House for the Oakwood Residence are in final stages of completion. The Guest House will have similar features  like the Main House and will be in the International Style.

    We moved our office 10 blocks up the avenue to 2101 S andrews Suite 205. The space is better suited to our current needs and is much quieter than the last space, that was across from a trucking and shipping railroad yard.

    The Oakwood project is really taking shape and soaring to new heights.  Wait till you see the new "tower" which will ascend another 25 ft above the highest point of the roof.  Only one in a million like this...

  • 03.20.2009   Marina One is rising from the ruins of 2005's devastating Hurricane Wilma which brought massive destruction to South Florida and goes on record as the most intense hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic basin.  Wilma was the twenty-second storm (including the subtropical storm discovered in reanalysis), thirteenth hurricane, sixth major hurricane, and fourth Category 5 hurricane of the record-breaking 2005 season (the previous record for storms in a single season was held by the 1933 season.) Wilma made several landfalls, with the most destructive effects felt in the Yucatán Peninsula of Mexico, Cuba, and the U.S. state of Florida. At least 63 deaths were reported, and damage is estimated at over $29.1 billion ($20.6 billion in the US; 2005 US dollars), ranking Wilma among the top 5 costliest hurricanes ever recorded in the Atlantic and the fourth costliest storm in U.S. history.

  • 01.17.2008  Toss-Up Salads restaurant at Nova Plaza, Davie, FL This restaurant combines healthy and exciting foods in an inviting environment with wi-fi and a fireplace, yes a fireplace.  A warm and inviting atmoshpere will encourage you to want to stay a while and feel comfortable and at home.  Yes the fireplace, is electric, as Florida rarely needs more heat but it will create a nice ambiance forgreater enjoyment of your meal and meeting with friends.
